Vern Jones, President, vern@astscorp.com
Vern has over 18 years experience assisting employers with developing effective workplace testing programs. Vern has worked closely with federal regulations in the original development of the federally mandated programs and continues to provide recommendations for modifications. As a national trainer and speaker, Vern delivers an inspiring and educational message on the negative impact that drugs and alcohol have on our schools, communities, and workplaces. He has been interviewed in numerous print media (i.e. The Wall Street Journal, USA Today), local and national television (i.e. Nightline with John Stossel), and is frequently a guest speaker at various conventions and seminars. Vern was recently the first, and only, recipient of the prestigious SAPAA "Trainer of the Year" award presented by unanimous vote of the board of directors of the only national organization for substance abuse program administrators.

Juan has over 14 years of experience in Occupational Medicine and workplace drug and alcohol testing. In his role as Occupational Health Coordinator, he has worked closely with employers to develop effective workplace testing programs that met the goals and culture of that company. Juan is a certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist, Breath Alcohol Technician and Urine and Oral Fluid Specimen Collector. He is also the coordinator of on-site drug and alcohol collections. Juan is also bilingual.

Jan has over 10 years experience in providing client services to the Occupational Medical and testing industry. She has several years experience of coordinating the needs of clients and the efficient review of our MRO staff. Her department is known for prompt, courteous and accurate information. Her attention to detail is critical in maintaining our legal defensibility of all test results.

As the MRO Assistant, her responsibilities include coordinating MRO referrals and record maintenance for MRO services. Patti has a well-earned reputation for assuring efficient and timely results transmitted in a professional manner. Her department offers a variety of reporting options including mail, fax, email, and phone.
Alisha Huitron, Random Drug & Alcohol Coordinator, alisha@astscorp.com
Taking on the task of the Random Drug and Alcohol Coordinator, is not an easy one. In her role as Random Coordinator she coordinates all random selections services. This time consuming and detailed oriented assignment demands attention to detail and significant customer service skills. Her department assures the compliance of all clients for the cornerstone of the DOT testing programs, random testing.

As a Client Service Assistant, her responsibilities include processing drug screen results for her markets accurately and on a timely manner. She responds to customer needs and requests for service and assistance with the highest level of communication and professionalism.
